‘And let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell in their midst’ Exodus 25:8
Update: We have moved to the Chapel!
Have you ever wanted to deepen your interior life through contemplation? Have you ever wondered what St. Paul meant by clothing ourselves with Christ? Do you seek to empty yourself of all things outside of God, so that this emptiness can be filled with God’s transcendent presence?
Our new summer intern, Katherine Walker, is engaged with these kinds of questions and practises and would like to practise them with the good people of Saint Mary the Virgin while she is here.
Those interested are invited to gather at 4:00pm on Wednesday at the Chapel, commencing August 1st and finishing on August 29th. If you want to catch up with the series, Katherine is capturing it in our blog. The entrance will be the doors through the garden by the Chapel. Newcomers and deep contemplatives alike are welcome for guided and silent spiritual practises with time for a light refreshment and reflection afterwards. Out of respect for the practise please do not enter the Chapel after 4:15. Let us together seek to learn how to love our God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and with all our strength.
‘And those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them’ John 14:21.
