After Hours Coffeehouse begins a new season

We're back! After a long break since the COVID pandemic forced us to slow down, and many of our lives changed direction,  The Churchmouse After Hours Coffeehouse is back on track. We're meeting on a new day/time (Saturday at 1:30pm) and with new hosts, who are old friends: locally-based poets Cynthia Woodman Kerkham and Yvonne Blomer.

So, mark your calendars for: Saturday, 15 February, 1:30-3:00pm (just after the Churchmouse Books normal opening hours).

The Theme: “Begin Again”. To begin again is to return, to take on the shape of what came before, but also to start anew. Something from the past is picked up, reshaped, carried forward. In February the sun lovingly returns, in fits and starts, and begins to coax new life—snowdrops emerge, red camelias flower, new buds sprout from underground, deepening connective roots.

We will begin again, return, reshape, walk new paths or old ones in new ways. Come to listen and to share poems, music and tales of beginnings.
