Autumn Book Sale Thanks!

Saturday’s giant Autumn Book Sale was a great success, thanks to the generous donations of so many visitors and the efforts of countless volunteers! Over 250 donors (plus a few four-legged friends) came through the door on September 8, and they took home 600 books in their arms and hotdogs & sliders in their bellies. The smiles on their faces are still floating around the pews and bookshelves at St Mary’s!

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, over $1,800 was raised on the day (and that doesn’t count the results of the Silent Auction which are yet to come in). These funds will continue to support local charities such as the Food Bank at St John the Divine, and programs that help strengthen the community.

Churchmouse Books is once again open for normal operations every Saturday, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. See you next week!
