“For the period of March 6-27, 2016 during the liturgical church season of Lent, Bishop Logan walked 480 kilometres from Alert Bay to Victoria seeking permission from First Nations representatives to enter and stay on the traditional lands.”
What was a 480 km trek was, in Bishop’s words, “one step” on a long journey of reconciliation and new relationship with First Nations in these lands. Visit the Diocese of BC’s page on The Sacred Journey and the Bishop’s Year of Reconcilitation to learn more about our ongoing efforts to begin again.
